Bank Accounts , Debit Cards and other fees , Getting Started

Hello everyone ,

I have just created a personal account and have a few questions I hope someone can answer .

First I would like to know if linking my bank account means that whenever I want to pay through paypal a transfer will have to be made from my account to paypal and then to seller or from bank account to seller , I ask this because banks over here charge a lot of money for international transfers , starting by around 50 euros and i was wondering if buying through paypal or transfering money from bank account to paypal would trigger that fee .

Another question I have is about whether it would be better to put my debit card data in instead of my bank account and if this would also count as a transfer , currently my bank specified that my debit card cannot be used for online purchases so I was also wondering if i could bypass that .

Another question I have is about fees , what is it going to cost monthly or is there a fee per transaction thats applied ?

I appreciate all answers and thank you in advance .

You can't link a bank account in Albania, you can only link a card. When you do paypal will automatically deduct the funds from that card (once its linked and confirmed) during the checkout process when you pay for an item.

Buyers don't pay fees. The only time you may pay a fee is if you send a friends/family personal gift payment BUT not sure that is an option in your country.

But for buying goods, sellers pay the fee.
