No more Payment Notifications?

Has this happened to anyone else? I've always received email notifying me when when I've gotten a payment from a buyer. A few days ago, without any explanation or warning, they've stopped coming. Now, if I want to know if I've been paid, I have to log onto PayPal and look at my account or eBay to check the status of my sold items. Did I miss a memo, or what?

I too am experiencing this problem, which is causing awful problems as I sell a 'digital item' on eBay.  I am eventually getting the notifications, but about 20 hours later.  Yesterday - Paypal had the cheek to open a 'notification of item' not received case against me.  I emailed informing them, that they had not notified me of a sale - but am yet to receive any reply.

This problem, could end up being a very expensive for me and my business.  I wonder if Paypal is going to offer any apology or compensation for loss of earnings.  The least they could do is waver their charges!!!!!!  I doubt that will ever happen.

Has there been any update on this?  Mine is not as big of a concern as it is an inconvenience...although it could turn very bad now that I think about it.  My husband's only access to our checking is with his PayPal debit card and I noticed I wasn't getting the emails when he used the card.  The last one I got was 6/22/11 also.  Could be ugly if he forgets to either tell me or give me a receipt and I forget to ask.

Hey all,

Sorry that we didn't respond to this when this problem was occurring.  For a couple of days we did have an issue causing payment notification emails to be delayed for about 12 hours in some cases.  This should be resolved as of July 2nd, but if anyone is still having this occur, post back here and we'll get some people on it.  But I'm hopeful that it's no longer a problem.  I apologize for the frustration this created but I'm glad that we now seem to have it under control.

I'm still not receiving payment notifications when I get orders. Several orders today and not a single email notification.

Me too, I only get notifications from my eBay sales when I receive a payment. But when I make a purchase at a store or take money to from an ATM I don't get any emails. I really rely on this fetcher because I can track my spending. Please help!!! I also contacted Paypal today lets see what they say.

I'm still not getting any either.  I got an email from PayPal about my Cash Back Bonus for the month, but have not gotten any at all since June 22nd for purchases with my debit card.  I don't sell a lot, so my biggest concern is getting them when we use our debit card for purchases.  Please fix this soon....  Thanks.

Mine was working again for a couple of days, but it has just stopped again as of this afternoon.  Fortunately a customer alerted me and I've gone back to checking for orders by logging into my account every half hour or so.  Looks like another long night.

Lately I have been receiving the instant payment norification e-mails a few hours after the transactions. This is in the region of two to three hours. When I check my account it shows the payment right after the sale. What's up?

The same thing has been happening to me lately, I was a little nervous because it made me feel like I was shipping things out before getting the payment. I wouldn't worry about it though, you're not the only one.
