Currency Conversion

How can I get PayPal to show currency in US Dollars when I make a payment?  I frequently purchase from Great Britian and it shows 'pounds' when I pay.  I want it to show the amount in US $ so I know what I'm really paying.  Thanks and God Bless.

I'm sorry you won't be able to respond directly to this post - we've made some improvements to the PayPal Community Help Forums, and as part of the upgrade, all existing posts were Archived and locked. The new boards and the new Community is accessible here.

When making a payment in a different currency, PayPal will show you the amount in USD that it is pulling from the associated funding source, along with a currency conversion rate.  This will be displayed in the payment details and is enabled by default.
