Where are funds

I received a payment last month and went to transfer to bank account today, and my balance is showing 0. I do not have a confirmation email confirming transfer and do not show it in my transactions.

If it doesn't show on your paypal account and you didn't get an email regarding payment then why do you think you have been paid???
