Hi I want to pay for goods this morning and have more than enough in my account. I do not want to link a bank account and I cannot pay without doing so. Can anyone help with this? I don't understand why I need to do this when there is sufficient funds in my PayPal account.

Paypal do allow you to use your paypal balance but for some types of transactions AND at some point you will have to add a bank account / card to act as a back up funding source and to verify your Paypal account.
