Good evening, why is my money on hold whereas it's a refund from a hair company? Why does it require tracking information from me? N.B : I used EFT to pay for the hair but they chose to refund me using PayPal 😡

Because they refunded you with a goods and services payment which could be subject to holds and has buyer protection rights. I guess seller didn’t want to EFT you back a refund. Seller is considered the buyer on this PayPal transaction and can dispute this payment later within 180 days from date of payment. You’ll have to wait 21 days for PayPal to release the funds to your PayPal balance but technically the money is not free and clear from disputes until after 180 days.
