My money has been on hold, and I have contacted Paypal, and they haven't done anything about it

Hello, I wanted to sell my ps4 for some money so I did, and the buyer bought it, and I sent it out to them, and I've been getting all these emails from Paypal saying that I would get my money, but I haven't. Also, the buyer received the package, so I don't understand what the problem is. I also sent Paypal 4 Message Center emails, and they have been sending me the same one about adding an accurate description of the problem, and when I do they send me the same email. Here is a message I sent them about the situation.

 

"Hello PayPal,

 

On September 21, 2019, I thought it was a good idea to sell my PlayStation 4, so I decided to do that and I posted pictures all over. On offer up, and guy named Temple Bray decided to text me and he said he buy the play station 4 for $350, so I accepted his offer. We exchanged numbers, and on September 22, 2019, I decided to ship out the play station using FedEx. I then emailed the receipt to pay pal, due to them saying “All we need from you now to get your account credited is that you just have to go to a nearby Local Post Office and get the item shipped out then get back to us with the Shipment Tracking Number for verification so, once this is done you account will be credited with the total sum of $350. Once this was done, I got another email from them saying, “Your money $(350.00 US dollars) from Temple Bray will be available in your account on Wednesday 25th of September, 2019 At 8.00 pm. So I waited until 8 pm on Wednesday, and no money was credited, so I emailed them and they said, “Your transaction is still under processing, we are following the movement of the shipment to make sure no problem before we release the money to your account. The transaction will be completed tomorrow Thursday by 8:pm. So I waited, and on the 26 of September, I got an email from FedEx saying that the shipment was shipped to Temple Bray, and later that day I texted Temple and he said that he got the Play Station 4. So I emailed you guys, and I got no response back. It’s now Saturday, and I got no money. I am making this long paragraph, because you guys said that to be accurate with a description, so here it is. I will also be including photos of all messages, and emails from you guys, fed ex and bray. I don't understand why I'm not getting my money, because the buyer go the object, so what’s the problem?"

Keep in mind, the forums are user to user help, not customer service (who has access to your account).

 

Did you add FedEx tracking number to the transaction? If so, once PayPal can confirm delivery with FedEx, they will release the funds. I do not know why they are even giving out specific dates and times because it's not always on time. They'll release the funds 1/2 days from the point of confirmed delivery.

 

You'll need to call customer service and have them manually confirm delivery status and release it. Allow a day or two for the request to be processed.

 

Its always when you need or sweatin' for money, things drag their feet.

 

To contact customer service for assistance:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US.

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.
