I would like some assistance on withdrawing from my FNB online bank account. When I am withdrawing from Paypal in my online FNB account, I receive an (E-104129) Hard Hold On Account message. I would like to know why is this happening. I recently contacted FNB, but they said everything seems fine on their side and that I should try to contact Paypal directly.

HI Paypal Community
I have been having the same problem with the Hard Hold on Account message when withdrawing from Paypal via FNB Online banking. Yesterday I tried calling <removed> but have been waiting for so long to get hold of a consultant. If anyone gets through please let me know though. I eventually sent an email explaining my problem and I am still waiting to hear from them. You can get the email address when you phone that number because Paypal has not permitted me to give out this information. I hope this information helps all of you looking for answers. I must say that Nicole is very lucky to get such special help which we all wish to receive. Take care and stay safe.

I've been having the exact same issue since yesterday, been calling PayPal and they are not picking up at all.
I went to an FNB branch and they said everything is fine from their side.

This is a tax issue. Anyone receiving money from outside the country must confirm where they pay tax. Solution. Go to your FNB Branch. As them to call the FNB PayPal CRS Department <removed> This is a different department to the FNB PayPal Help Line. They will provide FNB with the form that needs to be completed and returned to the same department and the hold should be lifted.

I have the same problem!! I can't withdraw my money from PayPal. It gives an error and says there is a Hard Hold on my account.
Is there any solution or explanation for this.

!!! Problem Solved !!!
I experienced the same issue. The problem is due to Tax. You need to complete a Self Certification Form.
Follow the steps below and everything will be back to normal in no time.
1. Call FNB on their main contact number. Try and reach a consultant that can transfer you. I called the online banking department.
2. Ask to be put through to the CRS Department.
3. Explain to the CRS department what happened and ask them to send you the Tax Self Certification Form.
4. Complete the form and send it back. You will need your Tax Number.
5. Wait 30 minutes just to make sure they receive your completed form.
6. Call them back and ask them to remove the hold from your PayPal account.
7. After they have confirmed that the hold has been removed, you should be able to withdraw your money again.
