Faster conformation of sent payment

I tried booking a hotel room through the paypal website but wasn't able to secure the reservation because there is a hold on the money. Is there a way to book a room without having to wait for the money to clear? They received my money but i still was not able to get the room because of the wait to confirm my payment? I needed the room right then not next week!

It sounds like the payment may have been processed as an eCheck from your bank account directly which would explain the delay in payment. Instant payment methods would be to use a card or your PayPal balance if available. I hope this helps you out for the future!
