Perception Of Paypal Outside The Office

Here is a minimally redacted email sent to one of my customers explaining a shipping delay. His feedback (Top) was not solicited. I thought maybe it was just me...maybe Paypal can adjust to the point to where we can use it because we want to and not because we have to.

I understand
I once sent $1000 to the wrong person.
I sent it the steve@ instead of stevi@
The person had given me the wrong address. Long store short. It cost me $100 to get $900 back. I had to bribe Steve I order for him to send it back to me.
PayPal is a evil company but it is the only company that provides that service.
Thanks again
Charles

Hello, Sir.

First, thank you for your purchase. It left the Liberty Post Office today on 2-day priority. I apologize for the delay in getting it shipped. Sometimes our electronic world turns around and bites us.

Recently I changed the email address on my Paypal account which I have had since there was a Paypal. The change made it everywhere except to the server that accepts payments, which held an email address that has been abolished.

What should have happened is you should have gotten an Invalid Account notification from Paypal. What actually happened is nothing. The next day I opened the paypal account because I had received a notification from Ebay that you had paid. There was a note on my account for the payment that said "processing through paypal". Fine, I thought...I would get your address and ship while they "processed". Nope. The site wouldn't let me, so I had to call. If you have ever called Paypal about an issue you know it is about like having a conversation with your dishwasher. Anyway I finally got it fixed.

The brackets for the unit are in a separate box in the main box. One of the mounting brackets was shopworn and looked ratty, so I got new ones from AutomationDirect. Thank you again..

Regards,

Steve

So he sent it to the wrong email address. Your email address identifies your paypal account just like your bank account number identifies your bank account.

So if you paid money into a wrong bank account that would be the banks fault would it??

If the amount was sent to the wrong account then he had no need to bribe anyone. Even though it was yours or his fault if the payment was completed he could have filed a dispute on paypal and as that person had nothing to send them then he would have got a refund.

So that was paypals fault he did not do that..............why????

As for the second email, as i said previously your email addy IDENTIFIES your paypal account. If someone leaves an old one on their auction OR website then the payment will be processing as that email addy is not linked to that paypal account. There is no such thing as an invalid paypal account notification...........what happens is that if the email addy is not assosciated with a paypal account then it shows as unclaimed and the buyer can use the cancel option............they did not do so.

Again that was paypals fault ..........why???

As for the personal info, it is not allowed on this paypal public board so can you edit and remove it..............ta.

I can't find the option to edit the post. Have a moderator remove it. I have a terminal illness, so just like Paypal I could care less.

FWIW, neither of of was notified of anything. Don't believe it if you want, again, I don't care.

Best wishes.

Not a point of believing.

Its just you don't seem to understand how paypal works and so are blaming paypal for your or your buyers mistakes.

If you don't want replies then why start a thread in the first place.

And it is totally inappropriate to throw in about your medical condition as you have no idea of any problems that those that reply to you have..............totally unneccessary.

If you could not care less then i wonder why you posted in the first place.

Bye
