Every time I want to log in to my account I have to eneter my password twice. I called the customer support nad they told me: This happening to us too" ????? This morning I received an ordder on eBay and there was no "Payment received" email from pay pal. Two days ago I received an order on eBay and there was no payment visible in my pay pal account for 4 hours. These are scary things when you know that these folks have your social security and all of your personal data on their web site

Take heart that: any fraud would take >4 hours to affect you. eBay checkout asks directly on the totals page to provide your PayPal password. Just press submit with no password and you will be forwarded directly to the PayPal payment site itself where you may more safely enter the password, and will be redirected to the checkout to finalize the purchase. I neverever, enter my credentials correctly the first time ANYWHERE as a matter-of-prudence! Jab and read.

BTW check yourself: maybe the auction you filed had not required immediate payment. You yourself took two days to complain, no?

I went from being asked to log in twice, to 3 times, and now twice plus they put up a captch code for me to enter.  I use the same password every time.  This is extremely annoying and time wasting.

Yeah happens to me all the time. You have to log in to log in. Double redundancy.

Then there is the stupi CAPCHA field that you have to enter.

Then your auto logged out after a few minutes and have to repeat the nonsense again.

I understand the need for security but Paypal should take a look at proffessional companies to see how things are properly done.

If this were the only bad thing that has happened lately with Paypal's "upgraded" software, I'd be reasobaly happy.

Oh and forget Paypal support - total waste of time.
