Hi, I just published my own topic of a scam by the WELCOME CENTER of DAYTONA BEACH. The company is a shell set up for the owner to buy product then a couple of days later claim 'unauthorized use'. They get the product then claim they didn't make the purchase. Have your cake and eat it too! I was new to selling and didn't see the warning signs: DO NOT sell to a company or a Paypal account using a company email address. Only sell to individuals who are willing to disclose their REAL NAME and SHIP TO address on their Paypal accounts. Another obvious flashing red light is the age of their account. If they just set it up yesterday, stay away - even if it's Verified! Also use the Paypal Verification check unless you accept unverified accounts (google How to Check Paypal Account Verification). Paypal is a treacherous minefield for sellers but you can mitigate some risk by close examination of buyer info. It might even be worth a phone call or email to a prospective buyer although this does nothing to enhance Paypal's total lack of seller security. Some sellers even check buyer's IP but that is more trouble than it's worth and even if the IP doesn't match the buyer's supposed location, it doesn't mean that it's not legitamate. Paypal blows but they are unfortunately a necessary evil. When a better system comes along, I will be the first one to jump ship!
