Every time I want to log in to my account I have to eneter my password twice. I called the customer support nad they told me: This happening to us too" ????? This morning I received an ordder on eBay and there was no "Payment received" email from pay pal. Two days ago I received an order on eBay and there was no payment visible in my pay pal account for 4 hours. These are scary things when you know that these folks have your social security and all of your personal data on their web site ... View more

Make sure you open the case with pay pal (not with eBay). eBay doesn't require signature for items less than $700. Pay pal should still require signature for items over $250. If you open the case with pay pal and there iwas no signature at the delivery, you are OK. If you have opened the case trough eBay, you have lost $650. For the seller, it's enough to ship the item (empty box) to any address in your zip code, and he will be OK with eBay, in the case you open the case. For ebay it's enough to see that the item was delivered to your zip code (not to your address). This is a biggest scam going on on ebay. eBay allowed this by rasing the signature requirement from $250 to $700 ... View more

Today I followed up on a couple of charges from my online purchases in the period from 11/21/12 till 11/25/12 and I found that on 11/23/12 there was a big mess with the numbers. The balance didn't reflect the charges from the left side at all. I am pretty sure I am short for at least $40 that day, however not even a Pay pal guy could figure out what happened that day. They are still investigating the issue. Be careful if you keep more than $100 in your Pay pal account. Check your balance every day. I don't trust this company in handling my money any more. At the times I had $20K in my account, but after this episode, where even Pay pal people has no an answer, I am moving my money to a safer place. My bank. Actually I never liked Pay pal, however as an eBay seller I am forced to have it. Fortunately I am not forced to keep my money in that account. Who knows, maybe one day they will not allow the transfers to bank account any more. ... View more

I purchased the $700 professional camera from natureproductions.com that was advertised with one problem (pretty cheap to fix). However I received a piece of junk with several problems that can't be fixed at all. Even thought the item was not as described, Pay pal sided with the seller. Be careful if you are going to do the business with this company natureproductions.com They are dishonest  and unprofessional. Till now I had $10k-$20K in my PP account at any given moment. From today I am done with PP. I transferred all my money to my bank account. No more Pay pal. They story about buyer protection is a huge B.S. ... View more

That's a pure scam going on on eBay and Pay pal.  There is a slim chance they will get the item and the money, but nothing will cost them to try. At the end they can use your item for 45 days make some money on it and return it for a full refund by Pay pal (no questions asked). That's what happened with my $7000 camera. It was purchased from me by a rental camera company, paid with a credit card. They rented it out for three weeks, then they sent it back to me for no reason and they got the full refund with no questions asked by pay pal. So they made some serious money without using real money at all. I did stop using eBay and Pay pal for transactions over $1000. No more free rent to anybody ... View more

Yes that's exactly what people is doing more and more every day because of the Pay Pal (buyer friendly) policies. I sold the $6700 camera, which was returned for no reason after 3 weeks. I called the customer support (Nicole) to ask if this is right, I got answer that once the item is returned Pay pal can't do anything but refund the buyer. So, if you need rent an expensive camera for two weeks job, you don't need too. Just buy it using Pay pal, use it, and return it. If the seller complains, open the case, and since you already returned the item you will automatically win the case. These are bad Pay pal policies. To solve this problem, they should start charging the buyers 15% restocking fee if nothing is wrong with these high dollar value items.  ... View more
