i recently sent a pair of shoes to a buyer. i then received an email from <removed>. It told me how the money is on hold, however when i go onto my account it dosent show any money on hold. Also when i put in the transaction ID it says the transaction does not exist. Have i been scammed?

Hi @finleylacey,
Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.
If you received an email saying you’ve received a payment, but you don’t see it in your PayPal account, there are a number of possibilities listed here: https://www.paypal.com/smarthelp/article/faq3586. If an email you've received seems suspicious, forward it to spoof@paypal.com then delete the fake email from your inbox. When you receive a payment, you’ll see the money in your account right away. Even if it was placed in your pending balance, you’ll see this. We want you to have complete visibility of your money.
