Paypal login - how to suppress seconday validation after password accepted?

When logging in using my Windows computer, after the password is accepted, it now always asks for a secondary validation - email, phone text, etc. How to turn that off?  I don't always have my mobile device with me, and prefer not to use it for any financial transactions.  I suspect my ISP changes my IP address frequently, because Paypal seems to remember many devices (even though I opt not to remember it).

Thank you for your comment.  I cannot find a duplicate post... can you give me a pointer to it?

I am still experiencing the same problem...

Every time I complete a purchase, I am informed that the login is being left open to facilitate future purchases.  I don't want it left open, so I have to log in again to turn the option off.  Every time I log in, after providing my password, I have to undergo a secondary validation, by email or text message to gain access.

I would very much like to know how to permanently turn off both being left logged in, and having to provide a confirmation in addition to my password.

Can you assist, or point me to the duplicate post that contains an answer?  Thanks!
