Forgot password and cant access email used to open Paypal.

Hello

I am asking for a friend of mine.She cannot access the gmail she used to open her Paypal account 3 years ago.She has also forgot the password of her Paypal account.What should she do in this case? Should she maybe try and message  or call Paypal customer service.Any advice would be helpful.

Yes her best bet is to reach out to customer services and see if they can help her regain access to her account.

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.

I literally just found my account,I was experiencing this same problem only I couldn't remember the email address or witch name I used when I opened my account marital changes. I would Recommend if she knows the email address or phone number to contact them via phone. It's going to be one hell of an adventure !! If there funds in there hence I've located my account and I'm still trying to gain full access to the funds. Best advice I can give is have ID ready to prove identity, phone number and phone provider in her name bank account with same information and upload or give them to add to account over the phone to start the verification process and then confirm and you she should be on her way. Hope I could help.
