Change of country in Primary Address

I am having trouble changing my primary address.  I opened my PayPal account when I lived in New Zealand in 2014 and I have recently moved to back home to the UK.  I don't seem to have any option to change my Country of residence on PayPal and I am wondering if I will have to open a whole new PayPal account.  Has anyone had the same experience? I'd appreciate you advice.  Thanks and best wishes Rachael

We are sorry to hear that you are unable to update your address. You can't change your address to another country or region. If you're moving abroad, you'll need to close your existing account and open a new one in your new country and region of residence. Kindly refer the help centre article for ore details. 

PayPal is country specific so if you move countries you have to close your old Paypal account and open a new Paypal account registered in the country where you now live.
