We have a shared windows PC for myself & partner (don't use paypal with mobile devices), when paying for items it always goes into my paypal with message something like "we recognize you on this device...", so we end up transferring manually from partner paypal to reimburse me.
Is there a way I can setup a "choose paypal account" after clicking the pay now button on merchant webstore.
Welcome. This is a great question! I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to make the payment. We usually recommend to not use shared device to avoid such errors and there's no such option to toggle the account while making the purchase. I hope that helps!
Thanks for the reply, we only have one internet capable computer (regional Australia).
Something I might try... Login to paypal first, then cart checkout & see if it picks up on the logged in state. I will reply results when the next purchase.
Ok, If my partner login to paypal then make payment in a merchant checkout it goes to the logged in paypal.
So this is a usable workaround, albeit a bit clunky however I think the system remembers the last login so the next time I make purchase I may need to login first to reset it.
I don't think it does this with ebay as it seems more integrated.
