Using a single account for two business

Hello all,

I want to start a business. My case is that can I use one PayPal account for two incomes. First one is from my freelancing that my clients paid me for the video editing, secondly, I want to start a business side by side and I want to receive the business payments on the same account.

for now, my account type is personal.

Do I have to update it to business account, and what are my boundaries on receiving payments etc.

I understand your concern about creating account. Please be informed that you can still receive freelancing payment on your personal account as well. If you own a business, then you may have to create a business account by providing business information. Here's the Help Center Article to know the difference between Personal and Business account. Kindly know that you can add multiple email addresses to your account, but each account must have its own email address. You cannot add one email address to multiple accounts. If you wish to upgrade your same personal account to business account, you'll have to reach out to our Customer Support team through the available contact options on our website.
