Not receiving SMS for 2-step verification

Hi, as part of the 2-factor authentication I am not receiving any SMS from PayPal and therefore cannot log into my account nor ask for help as this requires to be logged in as well. What can I do to log in and change the method of verification to authenticator app or downgrade the verification process temporarily?

Welcome to PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues logging into your account and receiving SMS for verification. The best option I can recommend is reaching out to our Customer Support teams for assistance on this one. They can be reached by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website. From there, you can select Password and Account Access, and then Login Problems for assistance. If you scroll down to the bottom, you should see the available contact methods for our Support teams.
