Having problem when I open a business account since I do not live in the same country as business

Hello everyone and thanks for the help.

I live in Italy as a person but my business is located in the USA, company in Delaware, and want to open a Paypal business account.

When I try to complete the process Paypal does not let me put my real personal address, since I am living in Italy.

I start signing up ->put the real US address of the company -> then the system asks me to put my real personal address but the option allows me to select just a State from the USA and not outside the country.

I can't believe Paypal has this huge bug since many people have companies around the world but they live in different countries.

How do they do?

I tried to contact customer care of Paypal but all of them give me silly replies like for example "open an account on paypal.it", but Paypal.it does not allow to open a business account of a company located in the USA.

I am desperate.

Anyone can seriously help?

PayPal is country specific. You need an ‘agent’ or business employee with a mailing address in the USA or you have to establish a mailing address in the US. It’s not enough to just register for a company in Delaware. You would also need a US bank account, US phone number. An ITIN, which is a US tax ID number for foreigners or a passport number.

PayPal is not the problem. You need to do more research on the topic. Or you can read these articles to get an idea of what to do. Disclaimer: I am not endorsing these businesses, they are just for information only.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
