Cannot login using App on IPad

Login stopped working after the last update to the App.

seems a lot of users have this problem but no solution.

I can login using my browser but the App won’t work.

Re-installed the App  , still doesn’t work

I cannot login on my iPad but can login on my iPhone?

I have had a conversation via messaging where I was told to ring direct! What a waste of time? It was so noisy on the phone with the incessant chatter of everyone in the call centre. I had to keep asking to repeat and the only solution was to wait four hours because I was logging in on the phone? I waited five ours and still have no login, personally I am just going to wait until they update as it was too painful trying to hear.

I’ve also deinstalled, power cycled and reinstalled. 
When I spoke to a PayPal officer they were unaware of this problem, were polite but couldn’t offer a solution. 
Put app review on AppStore and got an email back on how to resolve - doesn’t work.

I wonder if it’s to do with “2 Factor Authentificarion” ?

In my chat, they said I had been locked out but I can’t see why.

Not sure about two factor but either way I can still login on my iPhone, which is to my understanding, exactly the same app, just different hardware!? Last reply on my message was 5hat they had passed it on to the programmers and to wait for another update to the app!?

My account works from browser & iPhone 6.  
If the apps are the same then my iPhone is running an older, and reliable version ( must be iOS related ).

I’m waiting for an app update for the iPad environment. 

Will advise of any updates.

Have just applied the latest PayPal app to iPad. 

I’m now able to login - 2 factor authentication now working.

New issue - having logged in, the “Desktop” icon presents  e with messages that “Something went wrong”

I’m unable to enable “touch-id” . This works on the iPhone 6 version of the app.

Also, the “logout” option doesn’t appear to be the most responsive I’ve encountered. 

Waiting for the next release.

Same issue here. iPhone, browser, etc. is fine, but the iPad app will not allow login. I even uninstalled, resorted, downloaded again, and no luck

A question to anyone reading this thread?

Can anyone login on an iPad?

If so, are you using two factor authentication?

I don’t know if there is any other questions to ask! Just in case someone can login!

Done the same things. But no luck. Hopefully, there's an update coming to fix the problem. That's if Paypal is following this thread.

Nope. Me neither on the IPad. Reinstalled app several times. Even lowered my storage. Changed my password 5 times trying to get it to recognise me. Must be the new updated version   On my iPhone I’m get this two stage process and can’t ‘uncheck’ it in security settings. Thank goodness for this forum. I thought I’d mucked my iPad up!
