Account locked for no reason

My account has been locked for no reason after PayPal asked me to confirm my details so I sent a picture of my drivers licence which had my DOB on and they've replied saying I'm not 18 when I'm actually 24 now my account has been fully locked and I can't get in contact with paypal ... help ?

Hi UKBrighty,

 

Welcome to the community forum and thanks for posting.

 

It sounds like you were under 18 when you opened your account. As you have to sign a legal agreement to open an account you must be over 18 to do this. If we discover that you were not 18 we will permanently limit the account.

 

Since you are 24 now you can open a new PayPal account. You will be able to use all of the same information apart from your email address. That will need to be new. Once you open a new account get in touch with our customer service team and they will be able to assist you in moving your information. You will find our contact number by clicking 'help and contact' at the bottom of any PayPal page.

Hey, thanks for replying but I was 18 when I opened the account they looked at the wrong part of my drivers licence for the age and then locked me I tried calling was on hold for an hour and then when I made a new account I can't use my card as that's been locked too ! I can't get ahold of anyone at all it's disgusting !!
