Account Verification - but I'm already verified!

Ebay is saying I need to verify my account with PayPal and blocking my payment. I've checked my PayPal account and it's already verified! Help!

I am having this same problem! I have tried to make a purchase but ebay tells me i am not verified when paypal tells me i am and i know i am. I have had no problems using my paypal to order tickets from another site its just ebay i seem to be having a problem and i cannot by items 😞 help?

Rkb987, can you try make payment again as I think this may have been resolved? Let us know if the payment goes!

Tinkerpop, as you send payment outside of eBay it seems like a different issue. Is your card confirmed? If not do this and then try the payment again.

Without seeing your account details I can only guess by the information you provide, so do give PayPal a call if you are still having problems after following the steps I have suggested.

Just come across this issue myself.  Can someone (lucy_paypal?) take a look?  Not sure if it's a general issue, or whether it only affects specific individuals.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Solved.  The card I'd used to get verified had either expired or been cancelled.  Either way, I needed to link to a different card.

What sold me the dummy was that this was only recognised by the system at payment time, and not when you log in and check your verification status (which continued to congratulate me on being verified).  A combination of user error and system bug ... I mean, feature.

Kudos to you andrewjc, well done on that. The issue whereby your account status and limits change when a funding source expires is incorrect. Once “Verified”, you stay “Verified”. We’ll look into it here on our side. Thanks again.

i am having this problem and i dont know what to do, its very frustrating!! although i already took the steps to varify my account a long time ago, now my account is frozen because im 'not' varified??! what do i do? has anyone managed to sort this out for themselves? and if so, how?

Hi, I am already verified too but for some reason can only list 10 items at a time. Plus says I am still a new member and that my received payments I have to wait for, why?

Hi There, if you are a new seller. As in only been listing items over the last 90 days, then eBay restricts the amount of items you can list at one time. We appreciate that you are eager to sell and grow. But this is more of a security issue as well as assistance with new sellers, as “explosive growth” can often lead to real difficulties.
