What happens if your waiting for something and the last moment you decide to change your mind and don't want to pay for it and your Max bid is posted?

You should not bid unless you're sure that you want it.
However, in this case, you should contact the seller by using the Ask Seller a Question and ask if they will cancel your bid.
They don't have to.
If they do cncel your bid, expect to be blocked from bidding on any more of their items in the future.
