Payment has been on hold after i shipped package?

About a week and a half ago, i shipped a gameboy that i sold on ebay. After about 5 or 6 days, i contacted the person that i sent the gameboy too via ebay mail and they said to me that they got it and would leave feedback. When i shipped the package, i didnt use a printable shiping label, i just went to the post office and wrote down the adress of my buyer. Now even after contacting my buyer, my funds are still being held and i dont know why or what i can do in order to get my money for the gameboy. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

-penoozer so what you are trying to tell me is that they are also holding your funds which are $5 dollars for 21 days. If so that is just too much.  I wish  all this was a sham but so far I have seen a lot of people with feuds so I think they are just plain being unfair.

The 21 days uis only if you don't give paypal a tracking number so they can confirm delivery. I sold an 8.00 dollar item to a guy in canada on the 7th of jan, put in tracking info under details at paypal,tracking number was through usps and just this am got email from paypal that the funds for this deal were released, checked paypal account and they were. Thats 9 days. 21 day rule is no tracking info is provided so they can confirm delivery and no disputes are filed. Hope this helps.

9 days is still a very long time plus the 3 processing days to your bank. Thats 12 days. Wow I am outraged.

• Really thats not bad for post office being involved. Buyer still hasn't sent feedback so it must work off tracking number. But get this, sent item to pa. this last thurs, tracking doesn't show it delivered but funds were released this am. Go figure no rhyme or reason but I transfered my coins asap.

My email even said once the tracking info is provided your account will be credited.  Who is checking this and are they working weekends?  My package was sent to CHINA as a gift to my buyers daughter.  What if she doesn't leave feedback?  I will be totally **bleep**ed.  I agree this policy should be explained and the criteria outlined when you request money!  So far no money is in my acct and it's been 2 days.  I though once they verified the tracking number I would be credited.  It seems as if pay pal is scamming us...They keep our money to use any way they want.  They should have to pay interest if they are going to hold our money.  Who is protecting us from them?  Very disappointed!

I have sold an item on E-bay and have sent the tracking number, date, time of shipping, items number all that paypal has told me to do so that I can get the money from the buyer into my account .  I have hot heard a word from paypal on my money.  I did what I was supposed to do and paypal is not holding up to their end of the deal.  I want the money for the item I sold put into my account.

Am I **bleep**ed on this deal or what??

I've had my share of those 21 day holds,  identity verifications, bank accounts mysteriously becoming unverified, limitations that needed to be lifted, re-verifications and on and on and on......this while on my best behavior.

 I now know a few things.

paypal can release the funds with just the tracking number. It depends whom you speak to and what kind of day they are having. I've been told to wait the three days and I've also had the funds released instantly, with the punch of a key. Amazing but they can do it.  

Second, it is eBay and not paypal that is deciding which of those payments gets held. At least that is what paypal has told me repeatedly. paypal cannot give you a percentage they will be holding, they will not tell you if it is every fifth, every third, or if its just like the lottery ....

I just want to know how you are to run a business successfully when you are not able to plan.  

But this is the whip cream...Give me my shipping money. You want me to ship at the speed of sound then stop making it so impossible...paypal takes their fees timely.....no holds for them....why hold monies intended for shipment of that buyers purchase. i dont get it. oh and while im at it, can someone please explain to me why a transaction that involves a thousand dollars is any more difficult than that of a single dollar?  why do they get paid a percentage of that thousand while not performing any specialized tasks?

This is crazy!! i sell some items to help pay some bills this winter and now i have to wait for my money after i sent out the items!!!why was i never told this before hand??pay pal **bleep**! and im done with this!! i sent the items,why should i have to wait on the buyer leaving feedback!!most buyers forget to leave feedback after they get what they ordered!!

I am in total dismay at Paypal. Just another way for them to **bleep** the seller and to make interest off our money. Well I don't ship anything until I receive payment and this hold bs is just that. The buyer isn't getting his goods until I get my money.
