RELEASING PAYMENT WHEN PROVIDING TRACKING DETAILS?

Can anyone help?.......I used to sell alot on ebay years ago but recently rejoined as a new member.  My ebay payments are on hold as I am a new seller but I was told if I could give them tracking details funds would be released.  Due to this I personally paid extra on postage as I only offered standard postage in order to be able to get to my funds. I put these tracking details onto paypal. This was on Monday and yesterday I also received feedback yet my funds are still on hold.  The main reason I am selling on ebay as that I am struggling financially as a single mum and am triying to sell my old things to make some immediate money yet I cant seem to get hold of the money and cant afford to be paying postage etc....what do i do??

i too spent extra on postage so i could get my money quicker, turns out even with tracking info they dont release the funds until 3 days after the delivery was signed for. if you have had positive feedback then email paypal and tell them and they should release the funds.

Hi guys,

When holds are placed on your payments through your PayPal account, we are required to release the payment after three days has passed since the items were delivered to your buyer. This is to provide the buyer with the oppertunity to leave feedback before we can release the payments to your account.

I realise that it may be frustrating for you but if you receive feedback from your buyer, the funds should be released to your PayPal account within 24 hours or so. You could contact us if you wish when you receive feedback from your buyers and we can have the funds released to your account while you are on the phone.

I hope this helps,

David.
