A reversed payment but where is the money

After having no help online or through email i am now seeing if this helps.
On the 27th Feb funds from my bank account into paypal was complete (by echq) then on the same day paypal reversed the payment but it was only when the company wanted their money that i realised what had happened.
I could not see any funds in the account and have not ever seen it.
The company have been on my back for their money but i do not know wher it is. I am not getting any help from help line or email responces has anyone else experienced this and anyone got adivce.

Did you phone paypal and ask them to put a trace on the funds and have you done the same at your bank?

The trace on my bank shows on my bank statement it left my account so i need to ask paypal for a trace?

I did call them to ask them to look into it but they said it will take 72 hrs and no onegot back to me, so i am still trying to sort so have sent another email as phone bill is going sky high as they keep you waiting for so long! thank you for your response i am hoping ths last email will be the last
