Shopping Website www.Eccmall.com a scam???

On a search to find a replaecment for my stolen PS3, I stumbled across the website www.eccmall.com. I noticed that their prices were considerably lower than that of other similar vendors. I still did not have the money to buy it because I am a broke college student, but my father agreed to order it for me for christmas. The first fishy thing happened when he tried to use his card instead of using paypal. Something happened and he was charged twice, once on his credit card and once on his paypal account. After discovering the mistake, he tried contacting them by their "contact us" email address Sales@eccmall.com. After doing some more looking around the website, he found a "live chat, click here" button, but all it leads to is the contact us info which includes the sales@eccmall.com email and a physical address somewhere in the UK. The address is:

This seems very fishy espically since its been 9 days since the order was placed (for two $199.99 charges) and there is no evidence that the item has been shipped and no one has attempeted to contact my father or return his emails. Even more strange is at the bottom of the page there are several icons including UPS, Google checkout, Western Union, DHL, Paypal, and Paypal Verified. The strange thing is that when you move the cursor over the payapl and paypal verified icon, it turns into the hyperlink finger, but clicking it does nothing. Nothing at all, no new window, no new tab, no URL at the bottom, no nothing. A few of the other links work, but all you need is a basic understanding of web programming to link a visa button to visa's home page. If anyone has any information that could help me, please let me know. I will advise my father to file a claim soon concerning this matter as waiting may cause further loss. I noticed this website as well. They had a new 250GB Xbox 360 WITH the new kinect sensor and game (which retails for $150 by itself) both for only $198! Almost bought it, but I just felt like something was definitely fishy there. Please let me know what happens in your case. I hope they don't scam you guys in the end. Good luck.

I bought a 32" Panasonic TV.  When I paid through PayPal the recipient was a person with the last name of Jing.  The receipt made no reference to the Panasonic TV.  I have always received a receipt with the item purchased listed on it.  I corresponded to the Eccmall and the referring Ebay seller, indicating I need a response by 1/03/10.  If no response by then I will file a report with PayPal.  I have made printed copies of all the website pages related to my purchase.  I hope we all come out of this with no financial damage.

i also purchased a xbox 360 from eccmall.  i havent heard a thing and am begining to think its a total scam.  if anyone has any info please let me know.

I saw the same Xbox 360 Kinect bundle and almost pooped my pants at how low the price was.  I was about ready to buy it, but I noticed a few strange things...particularly the unprofessional look of the website, like some fairly unintelligent scammer threw it together.  Additionally, things are spelled wrong, poor grammar is used, etc.  I can't prove anything, but I'm only seeing bad stuff on Google when I do a search on ECCMall.  I'd like to see how your situation turns out...I would strongly suggest you report this to PayPal and file an offical complaint, along with whatever proxy Eccmall might have been using (Ebay, Craigslist, etc.).  I found them on Ebay and I'll be submitting an inquiry myself, even though I didn't buy anything.  I am sorry for your situation, but I deepy appreicate you posting this to save me and other potential buyers from scandal.

I bought a TV from there and Ive messaged  the site countless times,  I have yet to receive a response. I ordered it on dec 14th 2010. The transaction appeared on Dec 17th. But I havent received my tv nor have I been contacted. Has your PS3 come in yet? Please Let me know, Im waiting a few more days, then Im just going to try and get my money back assuming its a fraud. Please keep us informed.

I filed a claim a few days ago, paypal is currently awaiting eccmalls response. If I do not receive a response by the 7th then I am pretty sure I get my money back. Ill keep you all posted.

I contacted Eccmall about getting a receipt for the TV I ordered and he responded that the TV was shipped and should arrive in 4 to 6 days.  I responded today by asking him for the tracking number for the shipment.  I doubt I will receive one.  I've already talked with my credit card company and they said to wait until January 14, 2011 to dispute the charge.  I will start a case with Pay Pal on the 14th also.

you actually got a response?  That's the first I've heard of.  I filed a claim through paypay and the claim currently  says the seller has until the 13th to respond.  I tried sending the guy a message and didn't hear back.   My order is still "processing".
