INTERNATIONAL USPS HEADACHES

Ya, your dang right about that. I have been trying to put together international business for 1 1/2 yrs. shipping out of U.S. nightmare services with USPS. They try to be slick in their computer pricing system; if people are smart enough to figure out how to use their website they sure the heck can figure out how malicious it is. All these different mailing options. So, tell me someone, tell me why we have First Class Int'l Parcel and then Priority Mail Parcel. Other countries are not required to update any registered mail-piece, and they don't. Why the heck offer a certificate of mailing when a customer receipt will do the same? You can not try to sell me registered mail if it's not enforced by some treaty agreement (it should be folks, we have international agreements with trade and commerce-its easy), and why the heck not, what is so hard about that! Restricted delivery, beautiful idea, good-but I have to buy the registered mail option and return receipt for it and what sense does the registered receipt do again? Oh, and Priority Mail Int'l, insurance only on this one type of service, but no other services except cert. mail which is useless and just as good as my receipt-so what good is my insurance claim and why not add registered and restricted. Wow, USPS Federal people, executives...and I used to want a Federal Job soooo bad, no common sense and your only doing a disservice to the American people and postal employees at the postal service 99% of the time they don't know what the heck they're doing and I just got off the phone 2nd time after arguing with USPS customer service they are too lazy to look up or explain why and what’s of their services as I just described issues. No wonder USPS going belly-up. If FEDEX and UPS wasn't so dang expensive it would flourish, except that they just drop off packages anywhere and just leave, ya....caution...only good thing about USPS is that they actually deliver to desitnation (U.S.). Once a  FEDEX guy (among many, many, many other horror stories) dropped off package at my apartment complex and just left, hit buzzer and left, there I was telling him the person hit the buzzer back and the jerk said ya its ok as he was talking to his girlfriend I assume, jerk! Luckily I was there to hand it to my neighbor who is disabled/paralyzed and was his emergency medical stuff. I called and complained, but some typical young typical ghetto call center girl just gave me an attitute an hung up (seriously).  I think the postal service would make up for some of its losses if it justified these things and more streamlined and affordable as I can mail a package from Central Asia to my house for 1/2 the cost. Aside, why not just make the pricing not so much about being competitive, but sensible and work something out with other host countries, which I am sure they would to increase their work and revenues. This is only going to urt the postal service if not fixed and only contribute to the downfall of the US economy as it is and don't tell me any different because other countries are way ahead of this than we are. USPS if you try to make someone spend more for higher services at least make some sense to it! The days of trying to control things are over. I think I am going to create my own mailing service stamp and call it forget-it-forever-stamps.
