Unhappy with Claim outcome

Hi,
I have bought an engine for my car which turns out to be damaged and not fit for use.
The engine was collected for me at a cost of £72 on top of what I paid the seller.
PayPal have now asked me to return the engine to get my money back but I will need to pay a further £72 to send it back.

So although I will get my money back, I will loose out on £142

Is there a way I can not send the item back and get a refund? I am still loosing out by doing this.

Many thanks,
Steve
