Unauthorized payments to renfe

Hi! Today at 21.30 PM UTC+2 somebody did use my account to buy train tickets from www.renfe.es . They did buy three tickets charging my  linked credit cards about over 250 Euros. I blocked my credit cards and changed my password immediately. I did already report this and I did notice that same had happened to somebody before. I as him have been always carefull in online.I have antivirus software, never told my passwords to anyone, never answered to scam mail, never user public wifi, etc. How is this possible? Can someone give me some advice how to prevent this happening again? I already update my privacy policy and took two step verification to use.

I'm sorry to hear about the unauthorized activity! It sounds like you're doing all the right things to keep yourself safe. Was the transaction in your PayPal account, or was it seen only on your card statement and not in your PayPal account transaction history? Do you use the same password on the PayPal site that you use on any other website? If you do, it's possible that the other site has been compromised and the fraudster tried the same email and password combination on PayPal. If that's the case, please change your password there as well, and make sure that you're using unique passwords.

Hello, I'm facing exactly the same issue.. It's so stressful, I don't know how this could happen. The tickets were taking directly with PayPal on renfe website and they told me that I can't do anything except to go to the police. And police told me to go to the bank... Because it's late and closed, I'll go tomorrow but I really don't know how this could happen..
