So my account became limited in January, been waiting to get the email from paypal saying I can withdraw my money. FINALLY on 6/20 I got that email saying "Your PayPal funds are eligible for withdrawal" ok GREAT. But I still wasn't able to transfer my money to my bank. Spoke with someone at paypal and they said they fixed it (after 2hrs on hold), and that he sent me an email that had a link in it I could click and would take me right to withdrawing my money, said to try in 10 minutes. 15-20 min later I tried, no luck...so ok the email should help me, but only to find out they never even sent the email to me. I still can't withdraw my money, WHY??? and now i'm being told I can't withdraw my money for ANOTHER MONTH. So than why did I get an email saying I could withdraw my funds now? doesn't seem right, none of this does.

Hi Jay19861,
Thank you for your post in our Community forum!
In general, if your account is limited you would not have the option to withdraw your funds. However, if the limitation is permanent, your funds should be released after 180 days. If you received an email stating that your balance is ready to be transferred, it means that you will have the option to do so.
If you cannot complete the withdrawal, it may be that the system is preventing you from doing so as a security measure. This can often happen if the account is permanently limited. I would recommend clearing your cache and cookies, deleting your browser history and waiting 48 hours to let the system reset without accessing your account.
If this does not work, your best option would be to try to reach out to our Customer Service one more time. If you want to contact our Customer Service, you can click ‘Help & Contact’ at the bottom of any PayPal page to see which options are available. You can also contact us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/PayPalUK) or on Twitter (@AskPayPal).
I hope this helps!
Martina
