Theres a Paypal account I created in 2007 while living in Perth Australia, have been using for all these years. No problems, till now, it become impossible to do business with it. PayPal is a platform I use to protect the credit of the card numbers I enter. PayPal want to controll the holder in due course of the account identified through email and password security. No loss or damage has occurred to any user or credit holder, however PayPal feel they need to intercept and interfere by limiting the account. Requiring now what was not first required to open the account. Nor is it possible to supply, as a traveller, some government document or official record. I do not do business with gov.au. Nor do thier foreign policy apply to the people of the original jurisdiction living in peace on the land. Nor has the account holder stayed anywhere in many years that has not supplied all its needs. Thus the account is suspended after 14 years of service due to a FACT which you require a fiction to correct. Sad, but none at PayPal will help just hide behind policy.

PayPal accounts are country specific. Different regulations/policies may apply for different countries/regions. Today is not like the olden days unfortunately. If you log in from different locations and PayPal can’t recognize you, the system registers it as security breach or high risk. Credit cards protect you from unauthorized use too, not just PayPal.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
