How long does it take?

I filed a dispute against a seller that I'm pretty sure was running a scam. I purchased a product in October. Supposedly it was shipped early November. Tracking number is invalid. Website is no longer working. Seller won't respond to emails. So I escalated my claim on December 13th. Now PayPal keeps giving me different dates for when the claim will be resolved. The new date is now January 5 2020. Getting frustrated cause I can't get anyone to respond. Anyone else have this problem? Tips on what to do?

Maybe they are trying to tracking this user down to get a response and need more time. At least there are updates and not dead in the water.

 

To contact customer service for further assistance, not much user to user forums can do:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.
