Cancel dispute or?

Hi ! So i requested a refund for my last transaction less than 15 min after the transaction was completed, it was made my mistake. I reached out to them but they did not respond so I opened a dispute. Now they reached out to me and asked that i should close the dispute for them to be able to issue a refund. They said paypal doesn't let them make the refund if the dispute is open. I don't know if i should trust them. If i close that dispute i won't be able to opem another one if they do not reimburse. What is your advice please?
