To anyone dealing with a dispute, I suggest you find an alternative instead of trying to get Paypal to honor a legitimate claim for the Buyer Protection. They will take weeks to even a month to say they are giving time for the seller to get back with them. After that they will insist you mail the piece of junk the scammer sent you back to the scammer in order to get a refund. Yes, get that right they feel the scammer has right to the junk back even if it was nothing like the item you originally purchased. Most scammers come from China, it will be a very high fee to even send something that weighs a pound back to them via Fed Ex or UPS. THis cost will also be on your own dime, don't expect the scammer to have to pay for their own junk. You are then in the hands of the scammer to verify they actually received the item back and if they say no poof their goes your claim and more money you were forced into throwing away. This is exactly why scamming has become a major issue in the usa, scammers know Paypal will and does stand behind them 100%, due to they earn fees from the seller every time the scammer collects from another victim. Paypal enables and allows this to happen, as customers are no more than mere money pits to continually draw funds from. When you finally have managed to become smart and cancel your account from Paypal, they make sure the Cancel Account option is not in function, so you must contact a representative to cancel your account with them. Maybe someday enough people will ban together to create a class action against this deceptive company! As for me I will never use Paypal again even if they offered to pay me to reinstate my account! Never again will they do me this way!
