Pay negative balance with PayPal credit?

Hello I have a negative PayPal balance but I have available credit on my PayPal credit card. Can I use my PayPal credit card to pay off my negative balance?

Thanks for posting.

I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to use PayPal Credit to cover your negative balance. You would need to add money from funding source to do this. Once your balance is back to 0 you will be able to make payments using PayPal Credit.

You can restore your balance by:

• Logging in to your PayPal account and adding money
• Receiving money into your account to cover the outstanding amount
• Sending us a cheque, postal order or a banker's draft

Here's how to restore your balance:

1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Under 'PayPal balance', click Add money.
3. On the 'Resolve Your Negative Balance' page, choose which of the below three options you'd like to use to restore your balance:
   • Add funds using your debit or credit card (Instantly)
   • Top up your PayPal account with funds from your bank account
   • Add funds by sending a cheque to PayPal
4. Click Continue and follow the steps.
