SAMCART, reference transactions and subscriptions/upsells in 2019

Hello. Ive integrated Paypal and Samcart, but the below shows up on Samcart. I looked up "reference transactions" and apparently that is no longer supported by Paypal as of Feb 2019. Does anyone else have this issue? and if so, how to I fix it?

It turns out you actually have to call PayPal and they take an application to have reference transactions enabled over the phone.

Hopefully someone else will see this if they need help.

I used the Chat feature.

They asked about Business Purpose, Number of Repeat Customers, Number of Repeat Transactions, and Expected Revenue.

I responded, "I am starting a publishing business and wish to make one-time sales and subscriptions services. I would like to expedite the payment process, however, it is unknown at this time how many repeat customers or transactions I will have."

I was then issued a Request ID # and told, "The relevant team will reach out to you in 24 to 48 hours."

We'll see what happens...
