Can anyone help. I have sold an item on ebay and the seller has paid by paypal to my account, Trouble is their account shows the transfer but my account does not show the receipt. Is there any way I can pin down when the payment was made and where it has gone?
You had the incorrect email address on the listing, to check this go to the sold item. click relist/sell similar and scroll down to the payment receiving email address. Can you add it to your PayPal account and have access to the email address so you can confirm it? If so add it to PayPal confirm it and the payment will appear.
If not ask your buyer to cancel the payment at their end and send them a money request from within PayPal for eBay items.
