Hello community! :]
One person have sent me payments on March 5th and March 7th, but these payments have not reached my PayPal account. I got the notifications from PayPal system onto my e-mail, but I do not see these transfers in my PayPal History.
When I go onto the notification email from PalPal and press either Transaction ID number or "Get the details" button, it brings me an error (outdated page), with message: "You can only view the Transaction Details of transactions listed in your History log."
I have faced this problem for the first time.
I guess this is the issue caused by the PayPal system itself.
Is anyone here experiencing the same problems?
Has anyone found the solution?
Thank for the answers!
Sincerelly,
Artur

Is it an ebay transaction?
If so go to ebay and click on sell > do a pretend sell just as far as you need to go to be able to scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal payments box > is the email addy correct with no spelling mistakes?

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

No, it wasn't an ebay transaction.
It was actually a transaction made by person I know. Two more transactions that came earlier from him, did got through to me. I have no reasons to not trust him, and more - he also sent me a printscreen where I can clearly see that funds has been sent to me.
Maybe you have some other thoughts considering this issue? Thanks.

Can you ask him if there are the word unclaimed next to the transaction in his paypal account and if there is also is there a cancel button?
Also get him to confirm to you the email addy he paid and check and make sure there are no spelling mistakes.

There is actually a word "Completed" under the 'Payment Status' bar.
I assume that there indeed can not be any spelling mistake in my address, only for the fact that I received the confirmation e-mail from PayPal about the received payment the moment the transaction was made. Funny, as I even can not see this payment in my PayPal History, though I have an e-mail saying that I received one.
One more thing, in this confirmation e-mail, Transaction ID is given (like it always is, when the payment is received), BUT when I press "Get the details" button, PayPal brings me an error, saying:
"You can only view the Transaction Details of transactions listed in your History log."

If what i have said below is incorrect then all you can do is phone paypal via contact us bottom of page but this is what is normally the case with your problem.
If you’ve received a PayPal payment email notification but when you log into your PayPal account there is no record in the transaction history of receiving the payment, then the PayPal payment email address you used is not associated with your PayPal account. This could be because you’ve used an old email address.
What to Do
Because you have received the payment notification email, the payment has been sent to an email address that is valid and which you control (otherwise you would not have received the email).
You can have up to 8 email addresses attached to your PayPal account, so just add that email address
Login to your PayPal account
Click the edit profile hyperlink
Select Email under Account information
Click the Add button

I have currently assigned two e-mail addresses with my PayPal account. I tried to change which priorities (switching between on and fro "Primary" status), but everything stays the same - I still can not see the payment in my History.
I guess, if the problems would be connected with my e-mails, I wouldn't get any payments long time before this accident (when I actually attached the second e-mail to my account), as well as after this accident as well (I am receiving other payments successfully after all).
As I can see from the situation, the only thing is left is only to call them and ask to check their system.
Can you please tell me whether the call to their operators are toll-free? I am not living nor in the US, nor in UK, therefore I would be forced to call abroad. Thank you.

HOWEVER keep an eye on this thread as paypal employees post every now and then and they may well update with a solution.

Thank you very much for your reply!
I will indeed keep my eye on this threat, as you proposed. I hope someone from the PayPal staff members will notice this threat and will leave a reply as well.
I have already written an e-mail via Contact us form on Friday, right now I am waiting for a responce.
I will update this threat as well, if I receive any solution to this issue, or at least a comment leading to a solution of it.

Hi there Andartur,
It sounds like you may have 2 PayPal accounts. If this is the case the funds should be sitting in your 2nd PayPal account balance.
If you have problems logging into this account you can contact us directly.
