Hey there LCW656,
The option for adding an eBay Auction ID will only show if you have a Premiere or Business PayPal account, it won’t show if you have a Personal PayPal account. You may wish to upgrade your account, you do this on your Account Overview page by clicking on the ‘Upgrade’ link underneath your name.
In regard to the payment that has not been credited to your PayPal account balance.Tthe only reason why a payment wont credit to your PayPal account is if it has been sent to a wrong email address.
If you buyer used the send money tab they might have made a small spelling mistake or something like that.
I would suggest you also check the email address on your listing as well, just in case an old email address was used.
To view the email address used for a listing, follow these steps:
1.Log in to your eBay account and click "My eBay".
2.Find the item you sold and click "Sell one like this" under Additional Options.
3.Go to the section "Decide how you'd like to be paid," which displays the email address where the payment was sent.
If this matches your current confirmed email address on your PayPal account you can contact the buyer and ask them what email address they have used. If the email address they have used does not exist in the PayPal system they will be able to cancel the payment. You can then send them a money request.
To use PayPal to create a money request, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account at www.paypal.co.uk
2. Click on ‘Request Money’ near the top of the page.
3. Complete the form with the recipient's email address, the amount, the currency, and the type of money request and click ‘Continue’.
• If the Money Request is for an eBay Item or Auction Goods, fill out the second page of the payment form and click ‘Continue’.
4. Review the confirmation screen and click ‘Request Money’ to send a money request or ‘Send Invoice’ to send an invoice.
I hope this helps

If, when you've checked to see what email address was on the listing, you find that the money has been sent to an email address that you own, but hasn't yet been associated with your paypal account, then sign in to paypal, click the profile tab, choose "add or remove email" and add that address there
As soon as you've that done, paypal will send an email to the new email address asking you to confirm you own it. Once you've done that, any outstanding payments associated with it will be credited to your paypal account

Hi angiee_a,
If a payment has been sent to your registered email address and you have no access to that PayPal account I would suggest that you begin the password recovery option.
Please go to the log in screen for PayPal, and type in your email address in the log in section. You can then click on the forgot your password option. An email will then be sent to your registered email address to reset your password. Once you have reset your password you will then be able to log in to your PayPal account to view your payment.
I hope this helps
Paula
