My account says verified - but my spending limit still applies?

Does it take a few days for the verified bit to register? I haven't completed the set up for direct debit but surely this doesn't make any difference? My account says verified when i log in but when i go thru e-bay it says the £1900 limit still applies? why?

Hi sparkybhp,

When you verify your bank account on your PayPal account, your account status changes from unverified to verified and your sending limit is automatically lifted.

Sometimes your sending limit does not automatically lift and may need to be lifted manually. Generally I would suggest that you contact us directly by clicking on the contact us link to have this lifted manually.

I have contacted your directly by email with an update on your account as my full response contained specific account information.
