hi, basicly all i wanted to do was change the primary email address for my paypal account.

paypal wouldnt let me do this, whenever i tried to add another email address i got the following message after clicking the submit button.

If you were in the process of buying something, or sending money to family or friends, we recommend you check both your PayPal account and your email inbox for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.

If you came to this page from another website, you may want to return to that site (we advise that you don't just use your browser's back button) and restart your activity.

If you stumbled upon this page from the PayPal website, simply click the PayPal logo in the top left corner to return to the UK home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again.

If you wish to sign up to PayPal, please click the PayPal logo and then click the “Sign up” button.

and id never recieve any verication link to my new email.

furthermore whenever i logged into this account paypal takes me straight to the reset password screen which makes it virtualy impossible to use this account!!

in an effort to resolve this problem i have just registered a new paypal account but it wont let me enter my credit card details!! (presumably because these details are in use for my old account)

please please please help. like i said, all i wanted was to change my primary email adress. now im stuck with a paypal account i cant use cos it takes me to the password reset screen and keeps coming up with errors when i try to do this. and a paypal acount where  icant enter my credit card details. hope all that makes sense.

Right, this problem was recently reported by people.

Something was going wrong on PayPal side.

Have heard it was rectified this week.

Try to check again now.
