Closing account - pending transactions

I think this is not a new or isolated case, but I am trying to close my account (to open a new in another country), and I am being told that there are pending transactions. My transaction list only shows my Netflix payment from August 31 (which is marked as completed). Is the fact that I have an authorised recurring payment with Netflix the reason for having a "pending transaction"?

Welcome to the community. This could be the case, transfers usually take 5-7 working days to complete so we would suggest allowing this time. Also, make sure there are no open cases in the Resolution Centre of your account. If you still need help with closing this account here is the best number to call, 0800 358 7911.
