Changing bank account details

I have recently changed my bank account details and I do not know how to change the details on my PayPal account for the information to match. I have successfully changed my card details so that when I use PayPal to pay for things, it comes out of my bank account with the new card details. However, when I get money paid into my PayPal account from selling a product, I do not know how to transfer that into my bank account so it stays in my PayPal profile. It says that I need to confirm my bank account but how can I do that when the details are different and I am unable to change it?! Please help me!

Although if you receive a new card with an updated CVV2 and expiry date, it can be edited on the PayPal website. It's not possible for you to do this if you have updated or new bank account details.

If you have received a new bank account number or sort code, your best option would be to try removing the bank account from your PayPal account. Once this has been removed, you can then try to register your new bank account information and this should be updated on your account without any difficulties.

To do this, you can go to the Profile on your PayPal account. From here, you can then click the My Money option in order to view your bank and card details. On the next page, you can then click Update beside your bank details in order to update the bank account information on your PayPal account.
