Spending limit reached -- REALLY?

I guess I am not verified and that is preventing me from using PayPal since some sellers want verified address.

But check this out:

Really? You want to stop me from buying things through PayPal after I spent 10 large over all these years?

What kind of sense does that make? You took my FIRST 10 grand but now suddenly I am not "good enough" since I am "unverified".

You need to provide a non-invasive method of verification that does not include requiring someone's bank information to be in your databases. That way people WOULD get verified.

The statement from your website that is shown below is PLAIN UNTRUE because THERE IS NO WAY to "verify your card" -- you want the bank information:

"For security reasons, there are initial limits on the amount of money you can send, receive, and withdraw from your PayPal account. It’s easy to lift these limits – simply verify your bank account or card information."

Can you also please explain what kind of "security reasons" exist now all of a sudden after years of shopping and spending all this money through your company?

. I totally agree with you. Why, after good credit for 10,000 in expenditures are they not trusting me anymore. If they would just come clean and say they want your bank account info. because they're being defrauded in the millions of dollars or something, I might actually do it. But they make up all this crap about not being able to allow me to spend more. Also, there's no way I reached a $10,000 spending limit either. I've made exactly 31 transactions over the years on ebay with the largest ever being $425. The rest are $20-40. There's no possible way I could even reach $10K.

I'm in total agreement with all of you here.  I'll shortly max my Paypal spending limit, at which time they can place a $10,000 goodbye-kiss squarely on my **bleep**.

I will be soon quitting paypal as well. What a bunch of BS!  I will  not give them my account info- and I certainly wont sign up for a 20% interest credit card. HEY PAYPAL ARE YOU READING THIS!?!?! I have been a stellar client for the last 10k dollars but now its time. I really cant believe they are willing to lose even one customer. What an ignorant practice...
