I am trying to fund my account with a 37 dollar moneypak card, but I need to fill out that Account verification form. I did, but it doesnt stop saying "Validating Address information...." 

Its been saying that for 45 minutes!

Why Cant i fund my account?

Welcome! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear about the issue.  It definitely shouldn't take 45 minutes for the verification to complete.  I recommend trying to add the funds again.  Hopefully it's already started working for you again.

The information will need to be verified before the MoneyPak funds can be added.  You can learn more about this process in the PayPal FAQs on the MoneyPak website.

i am on 7 hours trying to get verificaion of my address to reload with a moneypak card. I called you guys and you said all was fine, it was greendots fault. I call them and they say it is your fault. I have 30 dollars on a card that i cannot use and i need to pay ebay sellers and all i get is the runaround....7 hours is bull **bleep** for no answers. All it does is sit there and little green dots spin around without verifying my address....i have tried 15 times...nothing

My PayPal account is unverified and I want to add money to it using a moneypak. Will this work and will I need to provide moneypak with my ssn etc.? Thanks!

I know there's a lot of passion surrounding this issue and we didn't want you to think we weren't paying attention to your concerns.

We've created a post here that explains why we're asking for what we're asking for.  I hope that it alleviates some of your concerns and answers your questions.

And for those of you who are having issues verifying your MoneyPaks, it's essentially the same issue from their end side of it.

Can you please cite the specific US law, including section, that requires you to ask for a photocopy of our Social Security card, Driver's License, pay stubs, or tax return? No other banking institution requires this.

Can you please tell us how you retain a copy of those fax images? Forever? And how are they stored?

Do you have any legally-binding statement that guarentess that you will not use that SSN for any purpose other than identifty verification an that PayPal will take full responsibility for all fraud related to that SSN?

I do have money in my account, so can I buy things and use my PayPal account? I can't just add money, correct?

Paypal limited my account, to be more specific, they won't let me add money to my account anymore. 
They're asking for proof of residency. Will my paycheck prove it?

I don't know why I would have to provide a tax ID number when I live in a state that doesn't even collect sales tax, and I only made one sale of $10.50 to which I haven't even received any payment for yet - thinking the person isn't following through with the purchase.

Hi, im having problems transfering money from my bank. When i click "Add Money" i get "We were unable to confirm your personal information at this time" on the next page.
