Refund Cancelled? Please help!

Hello,
Here is the story: I purchased a sweatshirt from this website called grailed.com - it is like a marketplace for clothes.
So I purchased via the website and sent the funds to the seller. The next day he refunded it, and told me there was a 'paypal issue' and that I should re-purchase the sweatshirt so it can go through. So I did this. The refund went into 'Pending' on my account and I figured it would go into my balance after a few days.
About a week has passed and the refund has disappeared, saying it was cancelled. What? Thats 455 USD gone, why??
Paypal sent me an email when the refund left the 'pending' area. The seller has not been responding for several days (after I purchased it AGAIN) and I have opened a case because he hasn't given me a tracking # or anything. I would really appreciate some help regarding the refund guys. Thanks. I have attached a screenshot of the email paypal sent me (first) and what it looks like in my summary (second)

Or file a dispute on the transaction and follow through to it's conclusion. Nothing anyone can do here. We have no access to your account.
