Am a retired Fed. Have disabled wife at home and must be here for care and aid. Looking for a work-at-home via multiple sources, most notably ratracerebellion.com. One of their listings, a company named "Literably," says they'd pay me via Paypal and ask for my user logon and password. My red flags went up. Is this safe?

Have you already lost your mind? Retired people generally do not, but it seems you have.
Why would you give anyone your PayPal account id and password? That means you would give the other party full access to your PayPal account and all related account, even taking all money from your bank account.
You may want to talk to a local banking adviser on how to manage the security of your finances.

Rest assured, I have not lost my mind...I did NOT provide any of that info, to ANYONE, but have seen other work at home "opportunities" referred by known-repultable WAH boards, who say they vet the jobs they refer, that ask for the same thing. As I said, red flags went up when asked to provide the info.

I can't think of a single reason anyone would need your logins. Now I wish you would respond to their ad, just to ask them why, and post what they told you, here. Seriously, if anyone aims to pay you money for work or anything else, all they would need is your PP email address. Not even PAYPAL employees can ask you for your password.
